A Custom Dream Home

From Dark and Dreary to Light and Bright–This Home in the Harbour Club At Ocotillo Underwent a Transformation

Kim Stoegbauer of TomKat Design + Real Estate (TheTomKatStudio.com) found this gem, located in the Harbour Club At Ocotillo. When she purchased it, it was dark and dated. She jumped into revitalizing it, transforming it into a light-filled, beach-style oasis, inspired by the surrounding lakes in the picturesque Ocotillo community. Here, in her own words, she takes us through various rooms of the project.

The home now features an open, airy great room, where the living space and kitchen/family room areas have ingeniously combined. The removal of a dividing wall has given the space an open, inviting feel.

The stunning kitchen features a grand 10-foot waterfall island with ample seating. Complete with a custom hood, new appliances, open shelving, and designer lighting, the kitchen is a masterpiece of style and functionality.

The primary bedroom retreat beckons with its serene ambiance and thoughtful details. The addition of woven pendant lighting, wood-look flooring, and textural decorative accents makes it a welcome haven for relaxation.

The space in the primary bathroom was utilized for optimum functionality, featuring wood freestanding vanities, champagne bronze fixtures, and charming patterned tile in the shower.

One of the secondary bedrooms was staged as a gorgeous home office, complete with a woven textured light fixture and attractive wood-look flooring, striking the perfect balance between productivity and style.

This home is currently for sale; for information, contact Kim Stoegbauer for details.
