The Luxe Destination That Will Be The Palmeraie

Located on the west side of Scottsdale Road between Lincoln Drive and Indian Bend Road sits the expanse of land that, when completed, will house one of the most desirable destinations in the Valley: The Palmeraie.

A master-planned community spanning 122 acres, it will include shopping and dining destinations, multimillion-dollar homes and a 215-room Ritz-Carlton hotel surrounded by 81 single-level Ritz-Carlton Residence Villas and 39 single-family Ritz-Carlton Residences Estate Homes.

The Villas are priced from the mid-$1 million to just over $5 million and range from 1,700 square feet to more than 4,800 square feet. The Estate Homes—where homeowners can opt to have an auto showcase gallery where an elevator can bring their exotic vehicle to be on display in their home—begin in the low $5 million range and are offered from 5,500 square feet to more than 12,000 square feet.

The villas and estate homeowners will experience a “resort within a resort,” with their own clubhouse; fitness facilities; director of residences; concierge; priority access to hotel amenities; and other perks such as in-residence dining, housekeeping and engineering services.

The retail and restaurant component will include more than 60 luxury and specialty boutiques, while the dining destinations will be led by best-in-class, celebrated local and international chefs.

FENDI Private Residences will also open its first ground-up residential enclave in North America at The Palmeraie with 41 bespoke residences.

There will also be The Palmeraie Offices, numerous Class-AA+ offices set within two- and four-story buildings designed with glass balconies.

“An integral component of The Palmeraie’s revolutionary design is the extensive, intricate landscape. With its vibrant colors, diverse textures and architectural shapes, the lush landscaping at The Palmeraie is the yin to the modern architecture’s yang, enhancing the look, feel and sense of place,” notes a recent release about the property. “There will be an unexpected visual interplay of experiences sprinkled throughout the lushly planted ‘Green Walls’, vine-covered trellises and lavishly planted outdoor spaces such as the focal water gardens. Groves of flowering evergreen trees combined with soaring palm trees create a shaded, idyllic atmosphere. Where luxe meets lush, The Palmeraie forges a new oasis and aesthetic for Scottsdale.”

The resort and first phase of Villa Residences are expected to be completed by spring 2020, while the initial phase of retail and restaurants, as well as the offices, are expected to be open by the end of 2020.

Future plans for the destination include a selection of collectible luxury residences, a best-in-category gourmet grocery store and food emporium, as well as a world-class boutique hotel.
