You might know Eric Boyce as the Founder, President, and CEO of Boyce and Associates Wealth Consulting, Inc.—a firm he always envisioned building on his own terms. After nearly 30 years sharpening his expertise in finance, in 2017, he created that business, surrounded by the right people.
His willingness to take a leap of faith extends beyond his career. Boyce served three terms on the City Council, giving back to the community where he and his wife raised their family. From leading as Chairman of the Planning & Zoning Commission to President of the Economic Development Corporation, he played a significant role in shaping the city’s growth. He focused on smart development, strategic job creation, and a thriving local identity.
“My mother was very involved in the community, and she inspired me to get involved when I was young,” says Boyce. “Council allowed me to listen to citizens’ needs, wants, and wishes, and help drive capital programs, budgets, and other expansions to drive long-term growth.”
Boyce’s impact is also evident in the establishment of the Parks & Trails Foundation, which is all about preserving and enhancing our green spaces. It reflects his belief that a strong community is nurtured, protected, and accessible for everyone.
“I’m particularly proud of that effort, which I worked very closely with the staff on,” says Boyce. “It’s turning into a wonderful organization promoting a lot of positivity in Cedar Park.”
At the core of everything Boyce does is a genuine commitment to people. Whether guiding clients through financial decisions or staying involved in local nonprofit initiatives, his aim remains the same: contributing to something bigger than himself.
“Cedar Park has something for everyone—work, play, and livability,” says Boyce. “We have parks, events, celebrations, and more. There’s a wonderful connectedness and camaraderie in our city.”
