Mike Domer is a well-known Scottsdale Real Estate Agent who has recently ranked as the No. 1 RE/MAX agent in the United States. When Mike isn’t out with a client, there’s no place like home for his primary office.
“If you want to be successful, you need to have some space from other agents. In addition, it gives me a chance to spend time with my wife, Peggy, and some very special family members,” Mike says.
Mike has two loving dogs, Sophie and Darcy, who are his biggest fans. While he works hard for his clients at his home office, his pups find leisure in curling up at Mike’s feet or on his lap. Days are often spent fulfilling the ever-evolving needs of home buyers and sellers, but Mike finds time for his furry friends and always makes sure they feel the comforts of home as well.
“I live in a five-bone rated dog resort,” he says.
6:00 AM: I wake up and freshen up, finished by a cup of coffee and of course treats for Darcy and Sophie.
6:30 a.m.: I walk my two rescue dogs. My daughter is a vet at Hillside Animal Hospital and has multiple rescue dogs that she has saved. My son has two as well. Darcy and Sophie are terrier mixes that range from 15 to 25 pounds. Darcy is the smaller dog who becomes frantically excited about taking walks with me each day.
7:00 AM- 11:00 AM: I begin content creation and artwork design for advertising client properties. There are always deadlines to hit! I also spend time on scheduling weekly open houses and staying in touch with my many clients. I typically carry more than 30 listings, so this is an important task.
11:00 AM-6:00 PM: Most of my day is filled with listing or showing appointments. My listings are shown by appointment only and always accompanied by myself or another agent from my office to answer questions and promote my client’s property.
6:00 PM (OR LATER): After making a few calls to clients or writing purchase offers, I wrap up the day by spending quality time with my loving wife and my two dogs at home.
12:00 PM: I seldom have time for lunch, but when I do you will find me at Lush Burger, Jalapeno’s, the Clubhouse at Silverleaf or Desert Highlands, where I can enjoy some downtime.
12:00 PM (ON FRIDAYS): Golf is a great getaway for me, so when I can, I try to participate in the Friday member shotgun at Silverleaf Golf Club.
“I will always be a rescue animal enthusiast. We support Foothills Rescue, where we adopted Darcy years ago. Part of what makes my house a home are my dogs. They have a very significant place in my home and heart.”
