Great things are happening for the Texas Blonde Society and the salon’s owner and visionary driving force, Lindsey Han.
Lindsey and her team of hair stylists – specializing in award-winning blonding services and blending amazing colors for gorgeous redheads, breathtaking brunettes and everything in between – have moved to an exciting new location in Keller.
A new, growing space for extraordinary hair services
Nestled near Keller Smithfield Rd. and Keller Parkway, Texas Blonde Society is a cozy retreat facing Southlake Blvd. Clients love the open, airy feel and funky vibe, bringing a touch of Texas flair to the space. Moving from the salon’s previous location, clients now enjoy walking into the new standalone space with its warm wooden floors, clean white walls, and stylish stations and chairs. The salon has added fun details like cowboy hats, a cowhide rug and a playful neon sign inspired by a Shania Twain song, giving a nod to its Texan roots.
At the front of the salon, clients will find a welcoming reception desk and retail area featuring top haircare brands like Leaf & Flower, K18 and Redken. Unlike before, where appointments were managed through texts or voicemails, the new setup with a front desk and receptionists ensures a smoother client experience, with appointments scheduled on the spot.
“I used to come home to 50-75 text messages at the end of the day, so having receptionists now is a fantastic change for us and for our clients,” Lindsey says.
The new, 3,000 sq. ft. niche salon features 13 hair stations and a team of 10 stylists and growing. The award-winning Texas Blonde Society is open from 8 am-8 pm Tuesday-Friday and from 8 am-4 pm on Saturdays.
Giving back to the community
One way that the Texas Blonde Society gives back is by donating haircuts for children in the foster care system.
“My family is a foster family; I have four adopted siblings, and I’m so proud to be their sister,” Lindsey says. “There are so many children out there who need a loving family.”
Lindsey’s father, who became involved in fostering with Lindsey’s stepmother after already raising a family of his own, is her biggest role model and an inspiration for how she gives back.
What shines through the most among the salon’s team is their heart.
Through her church, Grapevine's Fellowship of the Parks, Lindsey also provides hair styling and blowouts for young women served by Grace charity, a local organization providing assistance to individuals and families in crisis.
The church also donates beds to foster families, and Lindsey and her children – ages 15, 13 and 8 - have helped build the beds.
The salon donates to other charitable causes, like the Grapevine, Colleyville, Southlake Moms League that is this year sponsoring the annual Moulin Rouge gala to support Christ’s Haven for Children.
Through recommendations from their clients, the salon’s stylists have also donated makeovers to women going through a tough time in their lives.
In her “spare” time, Lindsey is a Girl Scout leader and classroom volunteer. Family comes first, and she is skilled in making time to do all the rest.
As the salon continues to grow, Lindsey says, the Texas Blonde Society team looks forward to getting even more involved in the community.
