Helping clients transform houses into their forever homes is in itself an art form, requiring not only an eye for art, furniture, space, texture, and design, but also an ability to listen carefully, question respectfully and thoughtfully, collaborate closely and guide caringly. Just because a client likes the way something looks, doesn't mean it will be functional or create a welcoming space to live in.

For the past 20 years, I have been helping clients understand their visions. While working on projects I am also always mindful of their budget — a beautiful, inviting room can be achieved at almost any price point.

No two projects are alike, because my clients' needs vary greatly, from simple paint selections to complete renovations. To make the process go smoothly, I have assembled a group of tradespeople: painters, cabinetmakers, contractors, carpenters, plumbers, electricians and even a window treatment specialist who also makes custom bedding and pillows. My entire team was hand picked based on their skill, reliability and general professionalism.

I recently completed this dining room remodel. My client loved her existing dining room table, but thought it was time for the room's gold and black color palette to get a facelift. We decided to lighten up the room. Her window treatments were beautiful and very well made, so I felt we should keep those as well — no need to drive up expenses on unnecessary extras!

To update her dining room I added this soft, textural blue grass cloth wallpaper, a handcrafted rug, artwork, mirrors, and a new chandelier with coordinating sconces. We also reupholstered all of her chairs. The result is an inviting, breathtaking room that will comfortably host many gatherings of family and friends this holiday season and beyond.
