With her entrepreneurial heart, Megan Tull has always built businesses around things she loves, whether in beauty, wellness, or small business coaching. She even wrote a book entitled The Passion Method: Own Your Value & Earn Your Worth In Business.
A year ago, when it came time for a new venture, she followed her own advice: have fun and find joy in your work. Combining her passions for cooking, mixology, entertaining, teaching, and the spirit of Italy, Buono Cello was born.
“The food in Italy is uniquely special because it’s so simple, yet so delicious. They use organic ingredients that really let the flavors speak for themselves,” says Tull. “I’ve been making homemade pasta dough and limoncello for about 10 years now, and since starting the business, I’ve done a lot of research to find authentic ways of making them.”
Buono Cello brings the magic of Italy to any gathering, offering limoncello and pasta-making parties brought to you, and events at partnered restaurants and bars. Complete with decor and music, the experience is fully interactive, with guests creating recipes from scratch, and painting beautiful glass bottles for limoncello.
“Many people reach out to share that after they learned how to make pasta, they went on to make even more advanced things. Once they realize it’s not complicated, it gives them confidence to do it themselves,” says Tull. “So, it’s not only fun, but you’re actually learning practical skills you can use moving forward.”
Tull encourages anyone to challenge themselves and use their gifts to serve others, with philanthropy being central to both Buono Cello and her life. She donates proceeds to four nonprofits quarterly and hosts leadership retreats to support young entrepreneurs as far as Uganda.
“We can all give back with more intention,” says Tull. “I love bringing opportunities for people to not just have an extraordinary experience, but to learn about how they can make an impact globally, beyond their community.”
