A twinkle in her eye

Artist Jill Holland shares her passion and her love for her business Twinkle Tree Pottery

Jill grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas and one of her favorite memories was doing ceramics with her Mom, other family members and neighbors, around our kitchen table. Fast forward about 30 years when her sweet husband gave her a gift certificate for a pottery lesson to learn how to throw on the wheel.  From then on, she was hooked!

When they first moved to Colorado, they shared a back-yard fence with a precious 2-year old (& her parents) named Allie.  Most evenings, they would gather at the fence, surrounded by Aspen trees, for a little visit.  Allie called the Aspens “twinkle trees” because of the lovely sight and sound of the leaves blowing in the breeze.  That’s how TwinkleTreePottery got its name.

Nowadays, Jill and her husband  enjoy their home on five acres in Castle Rock, Colorado, with a gorgeous view of the Rocky Mountains from their back deck (and from her studio).  Jill spends much of her time creating in her studio. To learn more visit; http://www.twinkletreepottery.com/
