Acts Academy

Viewing the World through the Lens of Scripture

Acts Academy began as a homeschool co-op/support group in response to COVID and school shutdowns, but it has turned into so much more. Founding member Brittany Dunn says “The only explanation for this school is God. He has opened doors for us, including those at Clear Creek Church, and we couldn't have asked for a better partner in this journey. We know that this is ultimately God's school, and we feel so honored that He has trusted us with the responsibility of leading the school.”

At Acts Academy, you’ll feel the synchronicity of this like-minded community. From the students, to the parents, to the staff, Brittany proclaims that “...every single individual who is a part of this school is a blessing from God.” She refers to the relationships here as truly priceless, and notes that she loves coming to work every day to be a part of the beautiful community. The partnerships, small class sizes, bible-based education, and moral and ethical teachings are unmatched.

The atmosphere of Acts Academy is full of life and excitement! They aim to inspire a love of learning, and the teachers embody that love first. They love their students and are excited every day; this kind of energy is contagious, and how uplifting it is to hear students talking about how much they love school.

Brittany Dunn shares that they see Acts Academy as a greenhouse for their students. They fully believe God calls them to be salt and light in the world, but they also know their children need training to be able to do this. Brittany explains:

Some of the most sought-after plants and flowers often begin in a greenhouse. The greenhouse allows these plants to be protected from the elements of nature while a gardener tills the soil, provides water, and ensures they are strong enough to be planted outside. A gardener wouldn't want to keep a plant in a greenhouse forever, though, or it would grow shallow roots and never meet its full potential. We believe the same can be true for our students. During this time of turmoil in our world, our hope and prayer is that Acts Academy will be a greenhouse for our students where they can grow strong in their faith and one day be prepared to go out into the world as strong and confident individuals who are academically and spiritually prepared for the variety of challenges they will face as young adults.
