All 'Bout Balance is all about YOU

Is 2024 the year you focus on yourself and start your journey to a well-balanced life?

Feeling like a little “you time” might be good after the hustle and bustle of the holidays? Are you ready to start the new year with a renewed focus? Then a visit to Southlake’s All ‘Bout Balance might be just the gift to give yourself in 2024.

Owner and massage therapist Justin Parrott has opened All ‘Bout Balance not far from Southlake’s Town Center, in the NT Suites building at 771 E. Southlake Blvd., Suite 120.

With 16 years of experience as a licensed massage therapist, Justin is focused on helping people balance their mind, body, emotions and spirit through massage therapy.

“The alignment of these four entities allows you to understand the small messages your body is sending,” he says. “Enhancing your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual awareness can unlock a deeper understanding of self-healing.”

Through a combination of massage therapy, education of the body and healing energy, Justin helps guide his clients through the process of creating a well-balanced life. He helps people relieve their physical pain, whether it’s from sports, sitting at a computer, living with chronic ailments or experiencing other health concerns. He works cohesively with his clients to help them feel better and live a productive life.

“Sometimes people are go-go-go and it's difficult to find a balance within yourself, your family and your career,” he says. “Sometimes in taking care of all that life demands, people fail to take time for themselves. Massage is one of the best ways to do that.”

When you want to feel better and be happy, it can make a big difference in your life. Taking time for self-care boosts confidence and improves your overall well-being,” Justin adds. “Massage gives you an opportunity to let go and just be in the moment instead of worrying about the future or something from the past.”

Not only does massage help clients, but it also helps Justin stay focused and care for his own stress and well-being.

“When you help someone else, you help yourself,” he says. “It brings me joy when I am able to help people who are in pain, feeling totally stressed out or seeking to rebalance their physical and mental wellness,” he says.

When Justin and his fiancée, Sarah, started the company in December 2022, Justin wanted to create an all-around customizable experience that wouldn’t break the bank. This is the ideology behind "The Balanced Experience," the only service available at All ‘Bout Balance.

The Balanced Experience incorporates multiple styles of massage based on the customer’s need. There is no additional charge for sports or deep tissue massage, lymphatic drainage or reflexology. The experience also includes tools that would typically be considered an add-on service, all for a flat rate based on the length of time selected. These tools include things like hot and cold stones, cupping, aromatherapy and percussive therapy. Hourlong sessions are available; however, Justin’s clients typically visit for a 90-minute or two-hour massage session, allocating time for detailed work on problem areas.

A big part of Justin’s focus is listening to and understanding what his clients need and then providing a positive space that allows self-healing to begin.

“Relax and let it go,” he says. “If people want to talk, it is a safe space for revitalizing the mind, or the experience can just be quiet and relaxing, whatever my client prefers.”

“Life isn’t meant for us to just work, come home, wash, rinse and repeat. People often get hyper fixated on what others want and forget about the time they need for themselves. That’s what I attempt to give my clients.”

Justin was born in Ohio but has called Texas home for most of his life and has found his community in the Southlake area. He loves what he does. His clients include everyone from CEOs, teachers, lawyers, doctors, business owners and others who lead busy, high-stress lives, as well as people just seeking to relax and find their balance.
