When it comes to navigating your finances or planning for retirement, working with knowledgeable, trustworthy professionals is essential. Alpha Omega Financial offers that — and more.
Managing Partner and Retirement Specialist Scott Graham and his team bring a personal, family-centered approach to helping clients reach their goals. With an office in Greensboro and virtual consultation options, expert guidance is always within reach.
After working more than two decades in transportation and logistics, Scott made a career shift that would ultimately shape the next chapter of his life. “I was drawn to the ability to help people with an important part of their lives,” he says. That decision led him to Equitable, where he spent years developing both his practice and leadership experience before launching Alpha Omega Financial in 2014 alongside a small team. Today, the firm has grown to include multiple advisors across North Carolina, reflecting both its steady evolution and expanding reach.
After much consideration, Scott’s son Pete joined Alpha Omega Financial in 2022 after nearly a decade working in pharmacy, much of it in hospice. “I saw how much dad loved what he did, and the benefit he provided to individuals,” says Pete. He brought with him a people-first mindset and a detail-oriented approach that complements his father’s experience. Together, they’ve formed a dynamic that blends perspective and precision. “It’s been extremely rewarding to see Pete grow and develop,” Scott shares. “It makes me extremely proud.”
At its core, the business focuses on investment advice, retirement planning, and family protection strategies such as life insurance and long-term-care planning. But what sets the firm apart is how they tailor advice to each individual client. “We’ve never taken a cookie cutter approach,” Scott explains. “We need to know where people are, what their priorities and values are. We gather info and get to know their story.”
That emphasis on understanding each client’s individual journey extends beyond financial documents. It often means navigating the emotional side of major life decisions, which is something Pete has come to appreciate deeply.
Their working relationship has also strengthened their personal bond. “From my perspective it’s only served to further strengthen our relationship,” Pete says.
That sense of continuity is something clients value, as well. In a field where long-term planning is essential, knowing there’s a trusted team in place — now and in the future — offers reassurance. As Scott notes, “People feel a level of comfort knowing we work together, side by side.”
Beyond the office, both men remain deeply connected to their community. From church involvement to supporting local businesses and nonprofits, their ties to Greensboro run deep. It’s evident that Scott has sincere interest and care for his clients, and some have become valued friends. “I’ve attended retirement events, graduations, funerals…” he reflects.
It’s that genuine curiosity — and care — that defines Scott and Pete’s work. Whether they’re guiding a young professional just getting started or helping someone approach retirement with confidence, the goal remains the same: to meet people where they are and help them move forward with clarity.
For the team at Alpha Omega Financial, success isn’t measured in numbers; it’s measured in relationships that last.
