Apple Cider Mushroom Chicken

Ingredients

2 chickens (bone in) cut into pieces

4 cups cider

2 Tbl sugar

½ tsp salt

2 Tbl lemon juice

4-6 cans mushrooms (or 2 lbs fresh mushrooms)

Parsley flakes

Large onion

Directions

Brown chicken in salt, pepper and flour.

Bring to boil:

4 cups cider

2 Tbl sugar

½ tsp salt

2 Tbl lemon juice

Drain canned mushrooms or clean fresh mushrooms.

Put mushrooms in 9x13 baking dish or similar type baking dish that would hold the 2 chickens.

Lay chicken pieces on top of mushrooms.

Pour liquid over chicken

Sprinkle with parsley flakes.

Slice large onion on top of chicken,

Bake at 350 for 2 hours
