April Showers Bring May Flowers

Growing, Growing, Grown.

We've often heard the phrase " April showers bring May flowers," this month we're pleased to bring you three locally loved nurseries that we just know you'll fall in love with too! Their blooms are almost as big as their hearts.

Slay's Nursery

There's something about an old dirt road winding down into the backwood that all southerners have a story about. Slay's is a 6th generation family-owned plant nursery that will absolutely knock your socks off. This family ran business is proud of their heritage and roots. Offering a wide variety of hanging baskets, annuals, perennials, herbs, yard art decor, and known far and wide for their ferns... they are open and ready to serve you.

DeHaven Farms

DeHaven Farms is a family-owned and operated flower farm in Bon Secour, Alabama. Marcey Williams, owner, is one of the happiest people on the planet getting to do what she loves and it shows. Growing a wide range of flowers that are hard to find and unique to our area, her farm and family passions are just plain precious. The farm is set to continue its expansion this year with its own "you cut" flower field and is now offering yoga in the garden as part of its growing classes and workshop events. Williams says "we want people to come here and have fun, pick some beautiful flowers and enjoy what I get to every day."
