Tim Quinn is a celebrity makeup artist for Giorgio Armani who boasts an impressive portfolio of clientele including actresses Hillary Swank, Kerry Washington and Diane Lane. Tim's words of wisdom have graced the pages of W, Elle, Glamour and Cosmopolitan, and he brought his expertise to the Biltmore Fashion Park recently to teach local women how simple it can be to take everyday looks to the next level.
Tim is an East Coast native who initially freelanced for the Lancôme brand before accepting his role at Armani in 2001. He traveled the world for Armani shows and worked with incredible women such as Maria Shriver, Elizabeth Edwards and Farrah Fawcett.
"I was so fortunate to meet powerful women and gain their trust," Tim says. "I'm a cancer survivor, and there's an energy that happens when people go through struggles that you carry with you, and it helps you connect. Makeup has a way of getting you out of your head; it makes you look and feel better."
Tim says every day is a gift that brings something new and different.
"Some days I wake up, fly to New York, take a car service to Delaware for a Vogue shoot, drive back to New York then hop a plane to Miami to shoot another event. ... I have a hard time saying 'no,' which is OK. It keeps things fresh."
