View local, intentionally curated artistic beauty while this grouping is still available. Artscape is the City of Frisco’s first pole banner art exhibition. The art of 20 artists, chosen from more than 200 submissions, are on view between 3rd and 5th Streets in the Rail District through Feb. 25, 2024. City officials state this unique opportunity functions as an outdoor, walkable gallery experience, and is a testament to the incredible art created in Frisco and the surrounding area.

Artscape was organized in collaboration with the Downtown Advisory Board members. The artwork selection committee reportedly consisted of members of the Downtown Advisory Board, Public Art Board and Parks & Recreation Board.

All the featured artists for this pole banner exhibition include: Angeline Collier, Heidi Kidd, Leah Lawless-Smith, Robert Moroch, Darla Bostick, Jesse Ringness, Michelle Gardner, Sara Cathriner, Dave McKinney, Kimberley Dietrich, Milessa Murphy Stewart, Suad Bejtovic, David Chalker, Kumiko Johnson, Monica Bhattacharya, Sudeep Kumar, Earamichia Brown, L.A. The Frisco Public Art Program promotes cultural, aesthetic and economic vitality by integrating the work of artists into public places, civic infrastructure and development of the community. For a map of the pole banner artwork locations, view online at FriscoTexas.gov/1858/Art-Exhibitions.
