Tennessee Whiskey Trail
Crisp, fall nights call for whiskey, and the Tennessee Whiskey Trail just provided two new spots to find it. Silverbelly Distillery is one of the Trail’s newest Music City stops, sitting just steps from Lower Broadway. It’s home to Silverbelly Whiskey, a premium spirit distilled exclusively for and hand-selected by country music legend Alan Jackson. Visitors can settle in for curated whiskey tastings and handcrafted cocktails, then wander through the Alan Jackson Museum. For a truly memorable night out, book the backstage VIP tour. Dam Whiskey Co. is another of the Trail’s newest partners. If a fall road trip is in order, head to Chattanooga, where Dam Whiskey pours at historic Hales Bar Dam in Guild and at a second location downtown off Market Street.
Franklin Flea Market
Few things make a November weekend feel as cozy as a slow morning of treasure hunting. Grab a warm drink, bring a tote bag, and plan to linger at the Franklin Flea Market, returning Nov. 14–15 to the Williamson County Ag Expo Park. With more than 400 booths, all indoors or under shaded cover, shoppers can browse antiques, collectibles, vintage finds, home décor, crafts, and more, rain or shine. It's the perfect place to find a one-of-a-kind holiday gift, a cozy piece for your fall décor, or something you didn't know you needed until you saw it. Food trucks will be on site to keep you fueled between aisles. Admission is free both days, and parking is $5. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

25th Anniversary Wine Down Main Street
Wine Down Main Street turns 25 this year, and the event is celebrating in style. The Banc Card-presented event runs 7-10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, closing historic Main Street to traffic and opening its doors to a night of sipping, shopping, and strolling. Pop into more than 20 local boutiques, each pouring a different wine, and sample bites from area restaurants as live music drifts down the street. Locals have long called it the best night out of the year, and it's easy to see why. The evening also does real good: proceeds support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee, helping fund mentoring and after-school and summer programs for local kids ages 5 to 18. One note before you go: this is a grown-ups-only night, so guests must be 21 or older, and kids and pets should stay home.
Day Trip to Leiper's Fork
Cool mornings, golden hillsides, and a slower pace make fall the perfect season for a day trip to Leiper's Fork. Get an early start and treat yourself to a hearty Southern breakfast at one of the beloved local restaurants, then grab a warm coffee and wander through its antique shops, boutiques, and art galleries, where one-of-a-kind treasures and early holiday gifts await. In the afternoon, trade the storefronts for scenery and take in the autumn color along winding country roads and the nearby Natchez Trace Parkway. As the day winds down, raise a glass at a wine or whiskey tasting before calling it a night.
