Ageless Affairs Returns Home to Redefine Wellness

What began as a lighthearted idea between two friends over drinks has blossomed into a thriving boutique medspa, offering a blend of cutting-edge aesthetic services and heartfelt community connection. Ageless Affairs, co-founded by Board Certified nurse practitioners Carrie Liming, APN, and Alix DeTullio, APN, is bringing wellness, beauty, and a deeply personal touch to Monmouth County.

Liming and DeTullio, both seasoned medical professionals with roots in hospital care, launched Ageless Affairs in 2022 after realizing they needed a change following the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We just wanted to do something that made people feel good,” DeTullio said. “We had both seen so much sadness in the hospital and needed something joyful.”

Originally, their concept centered on themed “Botox parties,” complete with full décor and refreshments in clients’ homes. But as demand grew, they pivoted into a more traditional medspa format, ultimately expanding into a larger, dedicated space in Tinton Falls. Now going into their 4th year, services now range from injectables like Botox and dermal fillers to advanced treatments including Morpheus8, body contouring, IV drips, PRP/PRF, Weight loss and other advanced peptides. They have recently added an esthetician to their growing team for facials. The duo plans to expand into more wellness-centered offerings this fall, like hormone optimization and balancing,  aiming to support health from the inside out.

While the treatments are high-tech, the heart of Ageless Affairs lies in its personalized approach.

“We’re very accessible to our clients,” Liming said. “They text us with questions all the time—we want people to feel comfortable, heard and cared for.”

The practice also maintains strong ties to the community, frequently collaborating with other women-owned small businesses. From providing complimentary vitamin B12 shots at a local Pilates studio to promoting new floral ventures on social media, Liming and DeTullio are as committed to their neighborhood as they are to their clients.

The connection runs deep: “I actually grew up five minutes from our space,” Liming said. “It’s so special being back in my hometown, building something meaningful here.”

She also recently purchased and began restoring her grandmother’s farmhouse nearby in Tinton Falls, adding another layer of personal legacy to their journey.

Looking ahead, the pair remain focused on growing intentionally.

“We don’t want to be a chain. We want to stay boutique, stay family-oriented, and keep providing the most effective, evidence-based treatments we can,” said DeTullio.

As fall approaches, Ageless Affairs will also spotlight seasonal treatments such as chemical peels and laser skin services to help clients refresh and restore after a summer of sun exposure. And for those just starting their skincare journey, Liming emphasizes the power of consistency.

“Medical-grade skincare makes a huge difference. What you do at home every day is just as important as the treatments you get from us.”
