One of Sugar Shaker’s most unforgettable cakes was for two teachers who fell for one another over Harry Potter and Batman. They wanted a cake as unique as their love—half Hufflepuff magic featuring a badger and Golden Snitch, half Gotham skyline complete with the Bat-Signal. As it was rolled in, they both burst into tears.
Another impactful moment came when a couple requested a groom’s cake of the groom bursting from a shark’s mouth, honoring his real-life shark attack survival. Sugar Shaker didn’t hesitate. They turned the wild idea into a masterpiece, blending the epic experience with wedding day chic.
“Sometimes, a cake is just cake. But sometimes, it’s a symbol of making it through the impossible—together,” says Sam.
