Banana Bread in a Cup

A warm, comforting latte that tastes just like banana bread

Banana Bread Latte

Banana Bread Syrup:

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 ripe banana, sliced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla 
  • pinch of salt 

Instructions: 

  • Simmer water, sugar, banana, spices, and salt for 10-15 minutes or until slightly thick.
  • Mash banana, remove from heat, stir in vanilla.
  • Strain and cool. 

Stir 1-2 teaspoons in your hot coffee or an iced latte. Add your favorite creamer and top with cinnamon. Enjoy your banana bread in a cup! Store your syrup in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.
