Located on Emma Street, Bella’s Gifts isn’t just a charming gift boutique, it’s a family’s legacy. A staple of the downtown community since 2003, this local favorite has grown with the community that surrounds it. Bella’s is lovingly curated and run by a mother-daughter duo whose roots run deep in Springdale, Arkansas and in the hearts of their loyal customers.
The shop was originally founded by Amanda Farmer and although Amanda is now enjoying the joys of grand-motherhood, she remains an active presence in the store. Her daughter, Morgan Farmer Sachs, now leads the shop as the head buyer, continuing the tradition she began as a little girl helping her mother select the perfect treasures to fill the shelves.
Today, Morgan gets to carry on that same tradition with her daughter, Sophie; helping another generation learn the magic of community and connection. What was once Morgan’s childhood playground has become her daughter’s, and together they make Bella’s more than just a store, but a second home.
Interestingly, the shop’s name has its own charming tale. “Bella” was the name Amanda had lovingly picked out for her third daughter during pregnancy, only to welcome a sweet son –Charles – instead. The name lingered, eventually becoming the store’s name, as a symbolic “fourth child.” One step inside, and it's clear: this shop truly is cared for like an additional family member.
Bella’s radiates warmth and the moment you walk through the door you are embraced in her colorful, vibrant arms. Shelves are lined with handpicked gifts, including offerings from local artisans, imaginative toys, thoughtful keepsakes, and a wonderfully curated children’s section. Whether it's a soft baby blanket, a whimsical puppet, or a personalized backpack for the first day of school, every piece feels like it was chosen with love.
Personalization is a hallmark of Bella’s. A beloved member of the Bella’s family and the in-house monogram expert Dianna Hoffman has been with the shop for nearly 20 years, can personalize almost anything: baby’s first blankets, dog bandanas, holiday pajamas, and so much more. Any idea you have on any item you own, Bella’s expert team can help bring it to life.
Beyond its merchandise, Bella’s offers something increasingly rare in today's fast-paced, online retail world: a real community experience. The store regularly hosts in-store events and thoughtfully curated seasonal merchandise that echoes the life and spirit of downtown Springdale. In honor of the town’s upcoming “Monarch Flight Festival,” Bella’s is featuring butterfly-themed books, toys, and the sweetest butterfly finger puppets, connecting their product line directly with local events and community traditions that Morgan holds so dearly to her heart.
It’s not uncommon to see families who’ve shopped at Bella’s for years returning to celebrate new milestones. Parents who once picked out their first Stephen Joseph backpacks before their first day of school now return with their own children. This generational loyalty speaks volumes about what Bella’s means to the community.
As Morgan says, “The most important part of Bella’s is being a part of the everyday celebration of people’s lives.”
In a time when everything can be purchased online with a few clicks, Bella’s is a reminder of the beauty of slowing down and choosing something with care. Their support of small makers and local artists ensures every gift tells a story. Their attention to detail, from their curated selection to the signature in-store complimentary gift wrapping (always with real paper and a colorful bow) makes every visit feel special.
Much more than a boutique, Bella’s is a place filled with memories, milestones, and meaning. Whether you’re welcoming a new baby, finding a special birthday present, or looking for that “perfect” gift, Bella’s has got you covered.
Because when it comes from Bella’s, you know it comes from the heart.
The most important part of Bella’s is being a part of the everyday celebration of people’s lives.
