What do the mortgage business, the music industry, and high-quality custom interior design have in common? – well, that would be Traci Sansinena. A self-styled tastemaker who is exceptionally experienced in the brass of the business world and also honed by the clever creativity required to promote musical superstars. These days, Traci is passionate about being an entrepreneur and bringing that wide range of experience to Bespoke Interior Design.

“My involvement in the music business came out of my desire to be part of a creative world, but on the business side rather than as a performer.” Though Traci herself has musical talent, she found the challenge of helping artists become famous (or in some cases, even more famous) very rewarding. “I was exposed to wonderful art and artists. I also had the great good fortune to be in magnificent homes and venues that were done in amazing interior design styles.”

Traci thinks of those early years as good training for her latest success story. “I love fashion, which to my eye, translates into the visual beauty of interior design. Whether it is haute couture styled for a particular figure or beautiful furniture and fabrics for someone’s living room, the concepts are the same. The patterns, colors, and shapes have to work with the structure.” She goes on to say that she has always had a fascination with the unique and unusual. Hence, the evolution of her bespoke design house—one that caters to discerning clients and a coterie of Boise’s best designers.

For Traci, the creative process is as fulfilling as the final product. “Each space we work on is a chance to tell a story. I get excited about how lighting plays off texture, how scale affects comfort, and how one piece of art can set the emotional tone for a whole room. It’s both an art and a responsibility to create spaces that people truly love to live in.”

“I was born and raised here in Idaho, and I love this place. That’s why I returned here after living in San Francisco for the music scene. Even though I have traveled a lot and seen some incredible architecture and luxurious homes, my truest goal is to explore how aesthetic design affects health and happiness. We don’t just work with concepts—we work with individuals, their lifestyles, and their hopes and dreams. No cookie-cutter approach can give the same satisfaction as a home or business designed specifically for someone’s needs.”

Traci may adore high-end design, but her heart is all about serving Boise and the people she loves. “Along with great style, I am committed to providing quality and sustainability in the materials that my trade accounts provide. I encourage people to purchase future heirlooms, not throwaway pieces, and also to support local and U.S.-based companies whenever possible. I believe in keeping great design affordable and accessible, which includes custom options. You don’t have to be wealthy to enjoy bespoke design solutions.”

The team at Bespoke Home Design prides itself on excellence of experience. The 9233 W State St. Garden City location has a boutique feel—both sensual and professional. It is an intimate space that is immediately comforting and elegant. Traci and her staff provide the opportunity to enjoy and explore: an ideal mix of helpful attention coupled with a deep calm that nurtures creativity. Clients are encouraged to touch fabrics, sit on furniture, and truly experience the textures and finishes they might bring into their own homes.

“I remember when I was working on designing my own home. I quickly realized that I needed help, and I started working with a designer. What made it a magical experience for me was finding the resources that I had no idea existed. Up until that point, I had struggled and wasn’t finding the right colors or quality to realize my vision. So when I brought Natasha in to advise me, a whole new world opened up in front of my eyes. It was a real thrill to co-create with her. She made my experience fun and purposeful, and the results were stunning.”

Traci has a great deal of respect for the trades in this town. “I can’t say enough about the wonderful resources that have been growing up in our area. I’m proud to promote them, and I always try to buy locally first.”

She also believes that design is never really finished. “Homes evolve as we do. New chapters, new needs, new inspiration. I love being part of that journey with my clients.”

It is people like Traci—with her mission to elevate every project into a wonderful experience—that make the Treasure Valley so special. “We are down to earth here, but there is no lack of style. This is still a very friendly town, and to me that is what makes all the difference.”
