For Roxanne "Roxy" Knight, healthy skin has never been about chasing perfection. It is about helping people feel confident in their own skin through education, personalized care, and lasting results.
As founder and licensed esthetician of SkinRX Clinical Spa, Roxy opened her business in 2015 with a vision that went beyond traditional medical spa services. After years of working in the aesthetics industry, she recognized that clients wanted more than one-size-fits-all treatments. They wanted someone who would create a plan designed specifically for them.
That philosophy remains the foundation of SkinRX today.
"We take the time to truly listen, understand each client's primary concern, and educate them about their skin before recommending a treatment," Roxy says. "Our focus is long-term skin health, not quick fixes or unnecessary procedures."
SkinRX relocated to Southlake in 2017, a natural move as many of its clients already lived in Southlake, Westlake, and surrounding communities. Roxy's family was deeply involved in local schools, athletics, and community organizations, making Southlake feel like home.
"What I love most about Southlake is its incredible sense of community," Roxy says. "People genuinely support one another, celebrate each other's successes, and invest in local businesses."
Roxy's passion for skincare began at just 14 years old while watching her mother, a spa owner in Florida, care for clients. Years later, that passion became personal when she experienced cystic acne after having children and was diagnosed with melanoma in 2014.
"I understand what it feels like to lose confidence in your skin and feel overwhelmed by all the products, treatments, and conflicting advice available," Roxy says.
Those experiences inspired her to create the kind of spa she once needed herself, combining advanced clinical treatments with a relaxing, luxury experience. Today, SkinRX offers customized facials, chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatments, radiofrequency skin tightening, acne care, pigmentation correction, oncology facials, and pregnancy-safe treatments. The practice was also the first in Texas to offer Density RF, an advanced collagen-stimulating technology developed in Korea.
Education continues to be the driving force behind every appointment, with each treatment tailored to each individual client's specific goals, lifestyle, and budget. The team also participates in ongoing training throughout the year to stay at the forefront of skincare technology and safety.
Beyond the treatment room, Roxy is equally passionate about serving the community. She serves on the board of the Southlake Women's Club, is co-president of the Carroll Emerald Belle Booster Club, and supports numerous local schools and nonprofits.
At the heart of everything she does is a simple mission.
"Healthy skin is not about perfection. It is about confidence," Roxy says. "Our mission at SkinRX is to educate and cultivate confidence. We are incredibly grateful to be part of the Southlake community and honored to care for generations of families who have trusted us with their skin over the years.”
