For the past three years, I’ve had the pleasure of being a food judge for The Big E’s Big Eats Competition. Each year, vendors submit their best savory and sweet creations, and we taste them all to find the standouts. After plenty of bites over the years, I’ve built my own list of Big E must-haves.
Cream Puff: A classic! I always grab one on my way out.
Danny’s Smokehouse Baked Potato: The superior Big E potato. I grew up loving the Maine potato, but this one has officially taken its place.
4-H Milk Booth: A hidden gem that tastes like a milkshake. My order is always chocolate and strawberry mixed.
The Big Sexy: I discovered this Broccoli Guys favorite while judging and immediately fell in love. Bonus, it’s gluten-friendly!
Pickle Pizza: A staple. No Big E trip is complete without a slice.
The Big E runs September 18 through October 4, with 17 days of fair fun!
