While you may be familiar with the high performance of the BMW X5, did you know this sport activity vehicle also is safe, kid friendly and a great vehicle in which to tote furry friends?
Our Brentwood Lifestyle team had the opportunity to take an X5 from BMW of Nashville for a spin, and we couldn't wait to share details about that pleasant, fun experience.
Our pups had plenty of room to spread out in the X5, which is equipped with up to 72.3 cubic feet of cargo space – easily accessed by the standard power split tailgate.
When toting around a whole family, one is not only riding in a luxury automobile, but also a very reliable vehicle. The X5 received Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's Top Safety Pick+. Three forward-facing child seats fit nicely across the second-row seats. The ISOFix pin on the two outer seats are easy to connect to, and the seat base is deep and wide, making it easy to install three seats.
One of our favorite features is the ability to control the volume by turning your finger to the left for down and right for up. This also worked for the parking sensor volume, which is a wonderful feature. The camera image quality is fantastic, and there are a few angles from which to look, making it helpful for parking.
Here comes the sun... The X5's panoramic moonroof is fully automatic, and has a two-piece glass panel, power slide and lift control, wind deflector and power interior sunshade.
For those feeling a bit stiff from a workout, sitting in an office, or a long-distance drive, the massage seat option comes to the rescue as subtle and soothing.
