What are the primary goals and mission of the Anna Education Foundation?
The foundation aims to enhance learning through innovative programs, support equity, provide scholarships, improve school environments, foster community partnerships, and advocate for educational excellence and sustainability. Our mission is to cultivate lifelong learning through empowering educators and strengthening community engagement and involvement.
How does the foundation allocate funds and resources to support educational initiatives?
We administer Growing Star Awards and Grants for Great Ideas. The education foundation underwent a complete revitalization and relaunch. Two years ago, the foundation held $10,000 in its account. Over the past year, we've raised more than $150,000 from businesses and community contributions. A dedicated full board is actively engaged in fundraising efforts.
What programs or projects has the foundation implemented to enhance student learning and development?
The foundation supports Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, providing funding for curriculum development, equipment upgrades, and industry partnerships to enhance student preparation for workforce readiness.
How can community members, parents, and businesses get involved or contribute to the foundation’s efforts?
Community members, parents, and businesses can contribute by donating funds, volunteering time, sponsoring events, or forming partnerships with the foundation to support its initiatives.
