Creative Workshop for New and Established Travel Writers & Bloggers

Are you the next Freya Stark or Paul Theroux? Weaver of tales far from home...and around the corner? Weaving words into visions and situations. Come find out!

Imagine four days to focus on your writing without distractions. Discover that at Writing Beyond: Standing Out as a Travel Writer, a luxury retreat held in Tucson April 18-21.

Whether you are a seasoned travel writer looking to refine your craft, or a new writer looking to turn your travel passion into a career, this retreat is for you. In an increasingly competitive world, it is important to be able to tell stories from your unique perspective.

Susan Lanier-Graham is leading the four-day, career-changing retreat, which will be held at the historic Armory Park Inn. Lanier-Graham has been writing and editing for 30 years, most of that time dedicated to travel writing.

She frequently travels and writes for various online and print publications and is the publisher of the award-winning digital travel publication, WanderWithWonder.com. She is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers, the International Food, Wine & Travel Writers Association, and the North American Travel Journalists Association.

The retreat includes luxury accommodations, meals, guided wine tastings, and more. Open to a maximum of 12 writers. The registration deadline is 2/15. Details online at WanderWithWonder.com/the-thot-project.
