Brunswick Senior, Henry Sorbaro’s successful Coop

Cleaning Company, Declucks

Covid-19 brought an abundance of new hobbies to our Greenwich community. Owning chickens has been one of them; however, few realized at the time, is how much work it is to take care of them.

Henry Sorbaro, a senior at Brunswick School, decided he was willing to do the work nobody wanted to do: clean chicken coops. He started the company in the fall of 2021 and since then has gained 20 very satisfied customers.

His strong work ethic results in incredibly clean coops and very happy customers. As one online reviewer and customer Brett Ferraro said, “Declucks chicken services has helped me so much with my chickens and my coop for over 4 months now. Henry, the owner, is extremely polite and truly the nicest to work with. He’s professional, kind, and always comes to work with a smile. "My coop has never looked so good and my chickens have never been happier.”

Sorbaro’s hard work has not gone unnoticed as he has been featured in both the Greenwich Times and Serendipity Magazine. Because of the overwhelming amount of community support and satisfaction Sorbaro has made merchandise that has sold quickly. The signature Declucks hat is still available on declucks.com/shop.

Since the growth of his business, Sorbaro has expanded his company by adding contractors and he has started servicing towns in both Fairfield and Westchester counties.

Declucks recognizes that each coop is different and requires different care, so they set up three different services: the Standard, the Premium, and the Declucks. They range in price in order to accommodate all of their customers. To schedule your first cleaning, please don’t hesitate to check out our website - declucks.com - or contact Henry Sorbaro.

Declucks is appreciative of all the support they have received since starting the small business and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
