At MetroNational, relationships have always been the foundation of the company, a 70-year legacy that continues to guide its work today. MetroNational’s commitment to “building better lives” extends beyond real estate development and into the heart of the Memorial community through its philanthropic efforts. From partnering with local nonprofits and supporting tenants to investing in the community, meaningful connections remain at the heart of everything the company does.

This summer, MetroNational launched the season with purpose and heart by hosting an evening on The Lawn at Memorial City in partnership with Kids’ Meals, Inc. and CEO Beth Harp. The pre-fundraising soiree offered an exclusive preview of what’s to come at this year’s 17th Annual Harvest Luncheon, set for November 4, 2025.

This year’s luncheon is especially meaningful: MetroNational CEO Jason Johnson and Director of Community Development Stacy Johnson will proudly serve as Co-Chairs for the signature fundraising event, which directly supports Kids’ Meals and its mission to end childhood hunger in Houston. During the evening, Jason Johnson will have the honor of announcing the 2025 honorees.

MetroNational’s summer of impact didn’t stop there. The company participated in the Kids’ Meals 9th Annual Juice Box Challenge, rallying the Memorial City community around an ambitious goal: 15,000 juice boxes for summer deliveries. Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of tenants, employees, and tenant standout supporter Kraken, the team surpassed expectations, collecting a remarkable 20,189 juice boxes.

It’s a powerful reminder that small actions, when united by shared purpose, can lead to meaningful change. For MetroNational, community isn’t just something to support, it's something to build every day.

Through lasting partnerships and new collaborations, MetroNational remains committed to investing in the people, places, and programs that help the Memorial and Spring Branch areas thrive. metronational.com
