In 1982, Gerri and Ken Fiedler turned Bumdoodler’s into Boerne’s most popular lunch destination. Gerri also started what is known as “Gerri’s Pies”, the best made-from-scratch pies money can buy. In the year 2000, Gerri’s youngest daughter, Jana Bezet and her husband Danny took over. At Thanksgiving and Christmas, people order their holiday pies ahead of time. It is an extremely popular tradition in Boerne.
