Dave’s “One Bite” review selected Calabria’s as his 1,000th pizza review and gave their delicious “crunchy thin” pizza a whopping score of 8.9, making Calabria’s top 3 in the state! Dave’s post drew followers for seven consecutive days as far as Pennsylvania with a line of cars that wrapped around and filled all adjacent parking lots! During Covid, Gabriella Ottaiano, one of the owners, posted on Facebook, “If you haven’t found a job today, and can’t feed your family, we will provide a family meal, no questions asked. Just pick up or we can deliver to you.” The response gives me chills and tears of happiness. Local folks stepped in and donated checks, some up to $1,000 to help Calabria’s mission.
