"A love for the ocean runs deep in my family. I remember that every day after he came back from work, my father used to sit on the porch and gaze at the sea. I lived in the ocean view duplex my parents built on their Cardiff-by-the-Sea lot all the way through high school. After my father’s death in 1995, my mother was left alone, and when she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2006, my husband Julio and I rented our house and moved in to look after her," said Alison Sanchez.
When Sanchez's mother passed in 2016, the memories held made the properties too valuable to sell -- the Sanchez family instead built a complex of vacation rentals so that others could escape and enjoy the ocean.
The Cardiff Parkhouse is a newly remodeled 3 story duplex by the amazing Kitchy Crouse of KC Interior Design. It is a tranquil modern oasis with beds fitted with percale cotton sheets and Belgian linen quilts. A fully furnished deck and elegant decor have made this escape picture perfect. The Cardiff Encinitas Parkhouse has been showcased in San Diego Home and Garden Magazine and used numerous times for TV shows and in the media.
