An incredible, inaugural concept is coming to the new Carillon Parc development in beautiful Southlake, Texas – to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in its Lifesaving Mission: Finding cures. Saving children.

Located in the heart of Southlake at the northeast corner of N. White Chapel Blvd. and E. State Highway 114, Carillon Parc is a welcoming, walkable 42-acre mixed-use development featuring a luxury boutique hotel, innovative office spaces, upscale residences, advanced health and wellness offerings, chef-driven dining and luxury shopping, anchored by an expansive park with water features and a beautifully landscaped central plaza. This alluring new development is inspired by old-world architecture, from oversized sidewalks with cobblestone details to iconic bell towers, infused with innovative hospitality, commercial and residential offerings. Verdant outdoor amenity spaces and the preservation of existing, mature trees serve as a natural green backdrop to six distinct districts: The Piazza, The Boulevard, The Terrace, The Grand Hotel & Wellness, and The Parc. Pedestrian-friendly paths and plazas connect each of these areas to provide residents and visitors with a cohesive, walkable and community-centered experience.

Now – for the first time ever – five luxury home builders are coming together in one exquisite Carillon Park neighborhood to create five dream homes, showcased side-by-side to raise funds benefitting the lifesaving work of St. Jude.

Atwood Custom Homes, Beckett Graham Luxury Homes, Heritage Homes, Kensington Custom Homes and Willow Tree Custom Homes are the proud builders of this incredible showplace community. Along with their trade partners, vendors, suppliers and other campaign sponsors, they have committed to collectively raise at least $1 million for the children of St. Jude. John Terrell with Carillon Park is the developer of this unique project.

“This program is a pilot for St. Jude and the first of its kind in the nation,” says Jennifer Kimble-McCauley, area managing director, North and Central Texas, of ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Dream Homes are usually built by one builder and raffled off for this charitable cause. St. Jude staff members assist with marketing, build support and raffle the home to the highest bidder. Because Texas raffle laws are different from other states, the Carillon Parc showplace homes are focused on raising awareness and monetary donations through local supporters and trade partners.

“Five luxury builders and five spectacular homes, all next to each other in the same neighborhood, is such a unique idea, initiated by Brandon Tatta, Heritage Homes construction manager, who had participated in St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway events previously,” Jennifer says.

“Brandon had a conversation with Heritage Homes president John Webb, and John shared the idea with the other Carillon Parc builders. Together, they brought the concept to St. Jude.”

The St. Jude team saw this as an incredible, out-of-the-box idea.

“We had always only showcased a singular home. This was a great opportunity for an innovative new program, so we worked in tandem with these five custom builders to plan the launch in Southlake,” she says.

Each builder brings a unique perspective to the table. They all take turns leading the charge, whatever the need may be.

“They work well together, and it’s so fantastic that they’re so highly invested in St. Jude and are supportive of each other,” Jennifer notes.

Each builder has formed a fundraising team with its own captain and colors. Builders can use their own network for donations to the project or for straight donations to St. Jude. Their contractors and the partners they regularly work with are enlisted to help provide products to build the homes. The St. Jude team also connects these builders with national partners Brizo, Shaw Industries, Trane, Bosch and Kichler, supporting St. Jude Dream Homes and Showplaces across the U.S.

A kickoff was held in September, with a groundbreaking planned in the coming months. When completed, these homes will be for sale.

“We hope, in Carillon Parc’s success,” Jennifer says, “that we’ll find other communities who will replicate this incredible idea.”

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food, so they can focus on helping their child live, regardless of the duration or the cost of care.
