Caring For The Community

Learn how Julie Calhoun can help you protect your family and home

Julie Calhoun, an Agency Manager with Farm Bureau Insurance, was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia and graduated from Hephzibah High School. Julie loves the Augusta community and stays very active in the sports community.

Julie first started working with insurance when she was just eighteen years old and in college. Working for a family business that did insurance and taxes, she learned that she had a passion for insurance and that was what she wanted to do. “I love helping people and I love being a source of comfort for our members,” says Julie. Julie takes pride in knowing that their members know if they have problems or concerns, they have an agent they can call and count on.

Normally, Farm Bureau has one office in each county, but Richmond County has two offices available. Julie stays on the go managing both offices, and is often seen out in the community getting home photos and completing inspections. There are four ladies between both offices, and they have a combined insurance experience of ninety-nine years. “We have an amazing team of ladies here at Richmond County Farm Bureau, and I’m grateful for each of them,” says Julie.

When you come to meet with Julie for an appointment, she does a complete insurance review, including a life needs analysis. She helps determine how much coverage you need to properly protect your family, home, and assets. She looks into important things such as your income, debts, and how many children you have to find the plan that works best for you all while staying in your price range. Farm Bureau is a membership company. Memberships help to support farmers in the state, as well as local school organizations such as 4H and FFA. Members with Farm Bureau can also receive great discounts on things like hotels and oil changes.

“We are here to serve our members in the very best way we can. We have really good rates on home, auto, and life insurance,” says Julie. Georgia Farm Bureau stands for values that make Georgia such a special place to live such as family, community, and keeping their promises. Since 1959, Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance has kept their promise of protection through home, auto, and life insurance for their members. Georgia Farm Bureau believes that we are all Farm Bureau.
