A new retailer has moved into the former liquor store on Main Street in Boerne! And, it carries beautiful Mexican imports – from hats to clothing to home furnishings and jewelry. The space is spacious and extremely colorful. Tanya Armenta set up the shop where the contrasting colors enhance each other and items are easy to find and try on.

Arturo, Tanya’s husband is a second generation shop owner. One of the times I was visiting them, he was framing and hanging old photos of his father’s shop, Casa Blanca Gifts, in Nuevo Laredo. One featured the ribbon cutting with a very young Arturo in front and center. He explained that the Boerne store is named after his and Tanya’s daughter, Alondra. The family moved to Boerne last year because of the culture, the scenic area, the schools and the relaxed atmosphere.

The items featured in the shop include works by jewelry designers, sculptors and artists. Go to the website for more information and be sure to visit the shop soon!
