Owners Padraic and Sandy Brown opened the Brea-based company in 2014, with hopes of building a business that the community could really count on for superior service—and that commitment to excellence remains unchanged.

“Our vision is the same from day one—to be a company that our clients, friends, family, and colleagues can trust and depend on. We strive every day to be better than the day before. Our goal is to one day own our own building, so that we can share kitchen and office space with other caterers, bakers, [and more],” says Padraic.

Clients can expect nothing but the best when they enlist the services of Catering On Time, who promises to deliver “your party, your way.” No detail is overlooked for events spanning weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, celebrations of life, themed events, and more.

Customers can create a customized menu for the occasion, choosing from a plethora of options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, Western BBQ, snacks, desserts, and drinks.

Special menus with fun, festive themes are available when you want to make a signature splash—and are perfectly paired with the size of your event and the type of occasion you have in mind.

From formal seated dinners to casual buffets bursting with flavor, tantalizing tasting stations, or hors d'oeuvres perfect for mingling guests to nibble on (stationary or passed trays), Catering On Time takes the reins to throw an unforgettable event. Catering staff and party rentals like tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, and flatware are also available to put the final flourishes on your fête.

Key ingredients in Catering On Time’s recipe for success stem from Padraic’s lengthy professional experience. With over 20 years in the hospitality industry under his belt, Padraic’s knowledge of being a server, banquet attendant, and now the business owner has proven to be integral when it comes to evolving from a new name in the industry to a trusted community treasure.

The Browns work tirelessly to hone their craft by learning from their clients, so something new and exciting is always cooking. “We love networking with different groups, meeting people, and building relationships. [We love] being open to new ideas and the visions other people have,” says Padraic. 

Padraic and Sandy take their role in the community seriously, including serving as Ambassadors for the Brea and Placentia Chambers of Commerce and supporting non-profits.

The Browns also relish regularly participating in local events, including “Taste of Placentia”, the Brea “Mayor’s Classic Golf Tournament,” “Taste of Brea,” and the “Love, Brea” event, to name a few.

In addition to taking an active role in the community, it’s always a family affair at Catering On Time. The husband-and-wife terrific twosome has had numerous family members as employees, helping to build the brand to what it is today.

Padraic and Sandy pride themselves on putting a personal touch on their full-scale catering and event services, which includes being “hands-on” for each event, whether that entails setting up at the venue or working the event and overseeing the staff.
