As America prepares to celebrate 250 years of independence, St. Louis is coming together in a way only the Arch city can. Celebrate St. Louis dramatically will transform downtown on July 3 and 4 into a vibrant gathering place filled with live music, innovation, civic pride and memorable moments designed to unite the region.
Celebrate St. Louis is more than a festival or fireworks around the nation’s birthday. It's a celebration of the people, organizations, businesses and leaders who continue shaping the future of St. Louis. The event highlights the energy, resilience and momentum building across the city while bringing the community together for two nights of entertainment, education and connection.
This year’s celebration will feature national live music performances, an America’s Birthday Parade, a brand-new Innovation Village, laser and drone shows on both nights and spectacular fireworks displays lighting up the skyline. Families, neighbors, visitors, community and business leaders from across the region will gather downtown and under the Arch to celebrate not only the nation’s history, but also the future of St. Louis.
At the heart of this year’s event is Innovation Village, an immersive experience showcasing the forward-thinking companies, entrepreneurs, institutions and ideas helping define the future of the city. From healthcare and technology to education and entrepreneurship, Innovation Village will spotlight the future-facing ecosystem growing across the St. Louis region and the people driving meaningful progress and innovation every day. It's a free event designed to inspire curiosity and awareness while giving attendees a firsthand look at the exciting momentum shaping the future of St. Louis. It's open to everyone to visit and experience throughout both days of the celebration.
Celebrate St. Louis is made possible through the generosity of corporate sponsors and individual donors united by a shared belief in the future of St. Louis. Their involvement reflects a conviction that St. Louis deserves moments that bring people together, inspire civic pride, and strengthen community connections. The event is designed to remind residents and visitors alike that St. Louis thrives when culture, innovation, and community come together.
“St. Louis has extraordinary people working toward something extraordinary. Celebrate St. Louis is about making that visible and giving our community a reason to believe in what comes next,” says Michael Ruwitch, COO of Celebrate St. Louis.
As fireworks burst above the Arch, drone shows illuminate the night sky, the parade marches through downtown, and music fills the air beneath the Arch with electrifying energy, the message behind this year’s celebration will be clear. St. Louis is a city with momentum, heart, energy, pride and a future worth celebrating together for generations to come.
And while the celebration may end after July Fourth, the momentum behind it will not. Celebrate St. Louis is intended to spark a renewed sense of pride and connection throughout the region. It's the beginning of a new wave of energy, optimism and belief in what St. Louis can become when the community comes together as one city with a shared vision for the future.
