The holiday spirit is alive and well as two of the city’s shopping destinations, Park Place and Hawthorne Plaza, roll out a season full of cheer, shopping, and family fun.
Holiday Magic at Park Place
Every Saturday leading up to Christmas, Park Place transforms into a winter wonderland. Visitors can meet Santa Claus as he strolls through the village from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and enjoy the nostalgic sounds of the Dickens Carolers on December 6, 13, and 20 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Families, friends, and even pets are invited to join in this free holiday fun, perfect for photos, laughter, and memories. Don’t miss the photo backdrop next to The Ice, where you can capture the season’s magic before lacing up your skates at The Ice at Park Place, exploring the shops, grabbing a cup of hot cocoa or dining at one of the local restaurants.
Festive Cheer at Hawthorne Plaza
Just down the road, Hawthorne Plaza is decking the halls with its Holiday Tree and Menorah, offering the perfect backdrop for festive photos in front of J.Crew Factory. But the holiday fun doesn’t stop there — shoppers can also take part in “A Very Hawthorne Holiday,” a series of weekly giveaways hosted on the center’s social media channels (@hawthorneplaza) throughout December.
