Changing Livez

Clean Eatz is a first step toward healthier living.

Everyone knows that a balanced and nutritious diet provides the essentials that contribute to proper growth, development, energy levels, immune function, and disease prevention. We also know that healthy eating habits play a crucial role in reducing the risk of chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and obesity. It all adds up to a higher quality and quantity of life. But establishing and maintaining healthy eating habits is oftentimes easier said than done.

Steve and Julie Redlinger are passionate about healthy lifestyles — not just theirs, but yours too. For them, it starts with helping people who enter their cafe, make the best decisions about what to feed their bodies. The Redlingers are mission-focused on good eating, along with their son-in-law Spencer Gray, and their two daughters Madison Gray and Meagan Bennett, they operate Clean Eatz Cafe in Peachtree City.

Steve and Julie were customers of Clean Eatz Cafe in Savannah for three years before they both retired from busy jobs. The decision to invest in a Clean Eatz of their own was not a difficult one as they were already sold on the concept. By following a Clean Eatz diet themselves, they had both lost weight, gained more energy, and reduced swelling and inflammation. Overall, they found that they just felt healthier. A little research revealed that the Clean Eatz franchisor was seeking operators for Fayette County, and the door to Clean Eatz Cafe PTC swung open in August 2021.

Known for an emphasis on nutritious and balanced meal choices, the Clean Eatz focus is to change livez (yes, with a "z") through clean, balanced food, thought-provoking education, and motivational support that inspires results. The menu typically includes a range of protein-rich, low-carb, and whole-food options. Meal plans and "Grab-n-Go" prepped meals are offered, making it convenient for customers to maintain healthy eating habits. Eating the correct portion of the right foods prepared in a cleaner way is the Clean Eatz difference.

The mission statement for Clean Eatz Peachtree City is to be the first step to living a healthier lifestyle. Julie shares, “Ours is a cafe — a casual feel, a place where anyone at any time feels comfortable to come and sit, connect with friends, eat and chat, take a moment to regroup, have bible study, a business meeting, or whatever they need. All while having a healthy meal.”

According to Julie, “Clean eating is caring, not obsessing about ingredients. It is quality and doing your best to cut the C.R.A.P. - chemicals, refined sugar, and flour, artificial sweeteners, colors and flavors, and preservatives.” Clean Eatz Peachtree City provides an opportunity for clean eating and Julie boasts, “We prep the food and freshly cook everything in-house. Our food is non-processed and nothing is fried. We cook with water, a convection oven, and a panini press. We don't put salt in our food. We have clean spices.”

The cafe is open every weekday from 11 am - 7 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am - 3 pm. In addition to enjoying lunch or dinner at the cafe, there is a marketplace onsite where customers can purchase delicious treats like protein buckeyes. Julie brags, “People will travel an hour just to buy our buckeyes”.  They sell energy bites, fudge, "Clean Crunch" made with their protein powders, protein popcorn, supplements, and Clean Eatz greens and reds (fruits and vegetables in a powdered form).

You can also enjoy burgers - beef, bison, salmon, turkey, and black bean. There are wraps, build-your-own bowls, cauliflower crust pizza, salads, smoothies, kid meals, appetizers, and other favorites in the cafe. Catering is available for all types of events.

"We prepare 2,000 grab-and-go meals. We immediately freeze them and put them in our grab-and-go freezers in front of the cafe. They contain meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. These are great when you're busy and on the go. We also have a weekly meal plan you can take advantage of.”  Customers can order one meal or twenty. Theirs is a tiered system so the more you order the price goes down. Take meals home to eat during the week or freeze them for up to 5 months.
