Charity Spotlight: Highlighting Area Nonprofits, with the Donor in Mind

This Month- Pima Council on Aging

Mission: To promote dignity and respect for aging and to advocate for independence in the lives of Pima County’s older adults and their families. A trusted source for information, assistance and advocacy for older people and their families in Pima County.

"Over more than five decades of service to Pima County’s communities, we have developed an unparalleled network of programs and service partners for older adults. This allows us to continually find new ways to serve our community through direct services and partnerships. We strive to be inclusive, innovative, and integrated into the fabric of our community.”

W. Mark Clark, President and CEO

"In my 50 years of working in the Tucson healthcare community, the majority of that time has been in the care of older adults at home or in residential settings. PCOA has demonstrated over and over again the variety of resources available, and their strong commitment to this growing sector of our population."

Agnes C. Poore, RN, Chair, PCOA Board of Directors
