Podiatrist Kimberly Inocco joined the staff of Vale Foot & Ankle recently, bringing her expertise in minimally invasive surgeries, as well as athletic care.
Kimberly was practicing at a large podiatry center in New Jersey and was lured here by the community's more intimate environment.
“Now I’m enjoying the smaller-knit community here and working in just one location. The structure of this partnership is very supportive and that's important to me."
Working in a smaller practice, she added, means she can develop closer relationships with patients. She also likes practicing here, she said, because it’s a tight-knit community that values athletics and health care excellence.
“The community’s so wonderful, most of my patients have been here for years and there are families whose roots go back generations, so I can tell it’s important for them to feel close to their doctor.”
A West Hartford resident, Dr. Inocco is a board-certified podiatrist and an American Board of Podiatric Medicine Diplomate. She’s also a board-qualified foot and ankle reconstructive surgeon, treating patients of all ages.
She completed a 3-year surgical residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, graduating as a Chief Resident. Her training includes pediatric and adult foot and ankle trauma, elective forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle reconstructive surgery, arthroscopy, minimally-invasive bunion surgery, as well as diabetic limb salvage through the hospital’s distinguished wound care center.
“Dr. Inocco's dedication to continuous learning will help keep our practice at the forefront of podiatric medicine and surgery," said Dr. Chelsea Viola, co-owner of the group. "In addition to her academic achievements, Dr. Inocco possesses exceptional interpersonal skills and has a very compassionate approach to patient care.
Dr. Viola, along with her husband Dr. Khoa Ngyuen, opened Vale Foot & Ankle in Oxford in 2020. Both are podiatrists and expanded their practice to Glastonbury.
