Cleaning House For 2025

Steamway Floor to Ceiling's Kim Weber on Community Cleanliness and Well-Being

Kim Weber really knows how to clean house.

As a second-generation manager and co-owner of Greeley's long-running and dedicated Steamway Floor to Ceiling (602 8th Ave.), Kim can hardly remember a time when she wasn't passionate about helping her fellow community members find more efficient and effective ways to give their homes and offices the clean sweep they so desperately require from time to time.

"My parents started the business 50 years ago," Kim proudly states. "We just celebrated our 50th a few months ago, in fact. We are so grateful to Greeley for continuing to support an independent, local company like ours."

Kim fondly recalls that many of her clients are now multi-generational, as well. For many families throughout the area, the sons and daughters—and in some cases, even grandchildren of former clients—are now tapping Steamway Floor to Ceiling for all of their house-cleaning and interior design needs.

"My mom and dad started all of this with just one truck, solely doing carpet cleaning," Kim says. "They eventually partnered with an interior designer who has become like family, too, and we haven't stopped expanding and finding more ways to innovate since."

Four easy house-cleaning tips from Kim Weber:

  • Schedule regular carpet cleaning to improve air quality and extend carpet life.
  • Clean air ducts and dryer vents to reduce dust and boost efficiency.
  • Maintain tile, grout and granite with expert care.
  • Revitalize upholstery with professional cleaning.
