Why this is my favorite item: My high-waisted, wide-leg jeans, in both a light and dark wash, are my staple pieces. Between the two, I have a go-to for every season and almost any occasion. I love that they have the structure and polish of dress pants while offering a refreshing alternative to traditional trousers. An added bonus is that simply swapping the top and accessories makes it feel like a whole new outfit. They’re one of the few pieces I can wear throughout my workday and still want to wear to dinner or happy hour afterward.

Why this is my favorite item: It was such a special gift, knowing that my kids took the time to create something that is uniquely mine and tells a story, our story. It includes my favorite things like their father, acknowledging our grandchildren, our dog Milo, and some of the funny nicknames and sayings that have hung on over the years. It was a wonderful surprise that is a treasure every time I wear it because when I am asked about what is on it, I am very prideful about all of the memories that are special to them, too.

Why this is my favorite item: She’s a conversation starter! I love when people comment on this bag because I get to tell them I’m an author and encourage them to write their own stories. Plus, kids love to come up and press the keys, and it’s so sweet. I coveted her for over a decade and feel so special now that she’s mine. I love the nostalgia of typewriters and did so much of my early writing on them; plus, she’s just so beautiful. Oh, and yes, the bag is a she and her name is Paige after Satchel Paige and for the pages and pages of stories I still have to write.
