For those who love winter, the snow can’t come fast enough. StretchLab Bozeman is excited to partner with local winter sports organizations like Bridger Ski Foundation, to develop specialized routines that aid winter sports enthusiasts in their outdoor pursuits and help to minimize injuries.
StretchLab is an assisted stretching facility that can help all ages and athletic abilities with overall flexibility and physical wellness. Assisted stretching is a one-on-one stretching routine tailored to the client’s specific physical needs. A certified Flexologist, with help of MAPS (Mobility, Activation, Posture, Symmetry) technology, assesses the clients’ physical and flexibility needs. Flexologists then put the client through a specific and tailored stretching routine, which targets needed areas. StretchLab’s Lead Flexologist, Shannon Lundberg, recommends for skiers, “Coming in after your long weekend is a must! We can improve imbalances, prevent ski-related injuries, and speed recovery time.”
Aside from winter sports enthusiasts, many of us struggle with stiffness from sitting at our computers all day. Assisted stretching can provide tremendous relief. “I couldn’t believe how much the stretching routine has helped. I saw a chiropractor for years. Even with the chiropractic adjustments, I still suffered from back pain. After only three stretches at StretchLab, it’s gone,” stated a recent StretchLab client.
If you are looking for an edge preparing for ski and snowboard season (or just to help with lower back pain), we can highly recommend our certified staff at StretchLab – located in downtown Bozeman at 23 South Willson Ave.
