“Crayola Experience is an immersive, larger-than-life, creative adventure that we can't wait to share with both locals and tourists," says Crayola CEO Smith Holland. "We hope to inspire countless kids and help create colorful family memories that will last a lifetime."
Crayola Experience Chandler recently opened at Chandler Fashion Center, and features a 20,000-square-foot family attraction area with 19 hands-on creative activities. Adjacent is The Crayola Store, with a large selection of Crayola products and souvenirs.
The space marks the fifth Crayola Experience in the nation.
At the location, everyone from kids to adults can explore art and technology, and express their creativity in new ways.
"We want families to have fun, spend time together, and make wonderful, lifelong memories. We believe creativity is an essential skill that must be experienced, and that’s what Crayola Experience provides. We want kids and adults alike to explore art and technology, express their creativity, and experience color in a whole new way," says Constance Walker, a Crayola spokesperson.
Activities include naming and wrapping your own Crayola crayon (Wrap It Up!), starring in your own coloring page (Be A Star), painting a melty masterpiece (Meltdown), bringing your coloring page to 3-D life and animating it (Color Magic), taking silly selfies (Silly Selfies), melting wax and making a swirly masterpiece (Drip Art), and more.
"When looking for our next adventure, Chandler was an ideal location because it’s family-focused, it’s located just outside of Phoenix giving additional people easy access to the attraction, and both Chandler and Phoenix are growing," Constance says.
