At the helm is Dr. Heffer, board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with over 20 years of experience. Dr. Heffer’s extensive career in emergency medicine includes roles as an attending physician at UMass, a life flight trauma doctor, and over 12 years at Yale-affiliated Greenwich Hospital, specializing in critical care. Dr. Heffer, who is deeply committed to community healthcare, lives in Fairfield, Connecticut, with his wife, Dr. Heena Sultan, and their three sons. Together, they actively contribute to our community's well-being.

Each of AFC’s clinics provide services to both individuals and businesses seeing patients of all ages, from the elderly to children as young as 3 months. The team of experienced healthcare professionals, strives to deliver thorough, compassionate, and personalized service efficiently, offering immedate walk-in patient care without the usual long waits or high costs. Each clinic offers convenient, optimal support for non-life-threatening medical needs. They also provide those hard to schedule specialized services in a more timely manner than traditional centers such as drug screenings, pre-employment physicals, workers' compensation evaluations, immigration physicals, allergy treatments, and preoperative evaluations.
