From routine women’s health to infertility evaluation and gynecologic surgeries, the professionals of Bucks County Women’s Wellness in Furlong, believe in customized care for every stage of a woman’s life. The practice's new location just opened Sept. 13, 2021.

For nearly 25 years, Victoria Petty, M.D., has treated women of Bucks, Montgomery and Mercer counties. She attended The University of Pennsylvania for both undergraduate and medical studies. After her residency in obstetrics and gynecologic medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, she continued her education and became board certified in integrative and holistic medicine.

In 2017, Monika Mansmann, physicians assistant-certified, joined Dr. Petty, bringing 15 years of practical experience in surgical specialties including orthopedic, vascular, bariatric, neurological, general and surgical oncology.

Together, they provide well women exams, family planning, PAP smears, menopause management, infertility evaluations, pelvic pain relief, hysterectomies, sexual health, ovarian cysts treatment, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) diagnoses and robotic surgery.

These two medical experts recommend the following advice regarding how women can secure a healthier, happier new year:

ANNUAL EXAMS:  Schedule an annual gynecologic appointment to screen for pelvic and breast abnormalities and cancers.

MAMMOGRAM:  Women 40 years of age and older should have a yearly mammogram.

COLONOSCOPY:  Average risk adults should now start screening at age 45.

BONE DENSITY: Women should have a bone scan at age 65 to diagnose and/or assess their risk of osteoporosis.

GYNECOLOGIC SCREENINGS:  Visit your GYN each year for annual evaluations and screenings.

SELF-CARE:  Take time to reset after the holidays. Read a book. Take a walk or hot bath, deep-breathing exercises or massage.

NATURAL MOOD BOOSTERS:  Eating a well-balanced diet, exercising regularly, getting a restful night’s sleep, and taking Vitamin D have been shown to elevate mood.

BOUNDARIES:  If you're one to overextend personally and/or professionally, January is the perfect time to start setting boundaries and recognizing it's OK to say NO.

POSITIVITY: Train yourself to see the glass half full. Surround yourself with people who lift your spirit and accept your flaws.

Bucks County Women’s Wellness treats women in their teens through their golden years to offer patient-centered, state-of-the-art care in a safe, nurturing environment at 2325 Heritage Center Drive, #605, in Furlong.
