Island Air

Two Cool Cats in a Condo

Rob and Ginny Barnas, along with Mickey Cornell and their dedicated staff at Island Air, have not only built a successful business, but they have also assisted in creating a haven for our beloved feline friends. Nestled within their office location is a remarkable cat condo, where these cool cats roam freely, bringing joy to staff and visitors alike.

The commitment to the well-being of these furry companions is evident in the care and affection showered upon them. Each member of the Island Air team takes the time to ensure that these cats are well-fed, comfortable, and loved. However, the Barnas family’s love for animals extends beyond their office walls. They are also the proud co-founders of the Safe Harbor Animal Coalition, an organization dedicated to the human care of homeless and abandoned cats and dogs in Baldwin County, Alabama.

The mission of the Safe Harbor Animal Coalition is twofold: to control the overpopulation of homeless animals through spaying, neutering, and vaccinations, and to provide low-cost veterinary services to partner nonprofit organizations. Through their unwavering dedication, Rob, Ginny, and their team are making a significant impact in the lives of these animals, ensuring they have a safe and loving environment to thrive in.

As we applaud Island Air’s commitment to our furry friends, let us remember the importance of compassion and responsible pet ownership, creating a better world for all creatures, big and small.
