Sperry’s
While the original Sperry's is located in Belle Meade, its second location in Franklin could, by some, be considered better. Located in the heart of Cool Springs, Sperry’s offers a high-class bar and restaurant that are exceedingly hard to come by these days. Some might be skeptical at first, but once the door closes behind you, the ambiance overwhelms your experience. You could be in a bar built decades ago or the bottom of an old inn tucked away for locals. Aside from the opulent, warm feeling of Sperry’s, their happy hour, Monday through Friday from 3–6 p.m. is one of the best in Nashville, let alone Franklin. From the jumbo shrimp cocktail, prime rib sliders, escargot and other $8 appetizers, to the half-off martini’s and half-priced bottles of wine on Sunday and Monday, you simply can’t go wrong! The bar is great for drinks with a coworker, a few friends or is romantic enough for a quick canoodle with your significant other.

Brick Top’s
With eight locations around the country and two right here in Middle Tennessee, Brick Top’s could feel like a chain, but that’s far from accurate. Once you saddle up to the cherry-wood accented open bar at its Cool Springs location, you’ll immediately reap the benefits of its attentive staff. Clad in cute caterer-like ensembles, the bar staff will treat you as if you are a repeat customer from the beginning. Large comfortable chairs allow you and your drinking buddy to chat and also people-watch with the bar and restaurant’s design. With a vibe combining beach, country club and steakhouse, Brick Top's invites you to stay for hours. Cocktails are always poured with a generous hand and delivered with a sidecar, while beer on tap is dispensed into a chilled pilsner glass. An excellent spot for coworkers, friends and couples, Brick Top’s also lends itself well for an individual to grab a glass of wine and unwind. Don’t forget to order an appetizer—the deviled eggs and Millionaire’s Bacon and California grilled artichokes are delectable options.

The Rutledge
You’ve probably driven by the striking black-and-white building and were curious about what’s going on inside. From the owners of Jonathan’s comes a modern American grill and cocktail bar. The ambiance is sleek and luxurious all while being relaxed and easy. No more driving into Nashville to find a place that is cutting-edge to grab a drink. The Rutledge takes great pride in its bar service, from the elegant cut glassware to the presentation of its craft cocktails. The by-the-glass wine list is exceptional and worth a trip for that alone, but while you are there, don’t forget about the bubbles. In the mood for something a little harder? Since its opening in March, The Rutledge has been named a Great Bourbon Bar of the World. It’s perfect for a girls' night out during happy hour Monday through Friday from 3–6 p.m. or a slightly sexier outing with a special someone.
