What began as a single mom and pop Christmas tree lot has grown to be Atlanta’s only full service holiday staple. Tradition Co. strings your outdoor lights, delivers and sets up your tree, hangs a wreath on your door, puts a log in your fireplace and does it all in the spirit of Christmas.
“Christmas is first and foremost a season of giving,” says Matt Bowman, CEO of Tradition Co., “so we are honored to give a portion of our profits to Atlanta charities.” Since branding as Tradition Trees in 2006, Bowman’s company has donated more than $50,000 to local non-profits, including the Atlanta Community Food Bank, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Winship Cancer Institute and many others. Tradition takes donations from customers to cover the costs associated with delivering trees to worthy Atlanta families that can’t afford a Christmas tree.
And this year, Tradition Company is partnering with Lifestyle Publications to support The Giving Kitchen. One lucky contributor to The Giving Kitchen will win a COVID-friendly Christmas experience. A fresh tree, between 6-8 feet in height, will be delivered and set up by appointment between November 21 - December 21, 2020, and taken down by appointment between December 26, 2020 - January 12, 2021. Dinner delivered from Botica Restaurant (up to $400). Continuing the chill theme, Taste & Tenacity will provide two hours of holiday shopping for the winner (who is responsible for the cost of the purchases). Purchases will be delivered, unwrapped, to the winner’s home or office.
“The holiday season is stressful, and COVID only adds more pressure,” says Bowman, “so using our convenient decorating and delivery eliminates the stress of decorating, allowing our customers to really enjoy the season.”
Bowman has organically expanded the Tradition brand to include several other businesses - - a full array of home and property services including landscaping, pressure washing, junk removal, and housekeeping. The car wash has a mobile department that will detail cars at your homes or offices.
“Time is everyone’s most valuable resource, so we developed our services with that in mind,” Bowman says. “We source high quality products and back them up with white-glove service. All of our products are available for delivery at our client’s convenience, whether it’s a premium Christmas tree, well-seasoned firewood, or a garden bed.”
As an Atlanta native, Matt loves being a big part of Christmas in our city. “My parents made every effort to make Christmas special, so it is a lot of fun to be able to help bring Christmas to Atlanta for my family and thousands of others. It is a ton of hard work for our team, but it is absolutely worth it - - in fact it’s a Tradition!”
To enter, do so by December 11, 2020. One entry for every $10 donation to The Giving Kitchen.
