Join in on one of the largest fashion show events of the year Oct. 19—The Heels on the Move to Heal Shoe Fashion Show! This is presented by We Talk Radio and TMD Marketing Company. It will be held at the Lincoln Experience Center inside The Star in Frisco. This is a great cause to help bring awareness of domestic violence and to help support survivors of women who experienced domestic abuse.
Through the years, this organization has provided more than 5,000 pairs of new shoes, lightly used clothing items and other monetary donations to those in need. Last year, they partnered with The Society of Women Who Love Shoes. They were able to provide 5,000 pairs of shoes across 11 different shelters in Dallas and Fort Worth. The feedback from the survivors has been showings of appreciation. The heeled shoes have especially been useful to these women, as they help survivors to hold a more professional look during the job interview process.
This year, WeTalkRadio and TMD are excited in the growth of sponsors, volunteers and event participants. More than 18 nonconventional models were selected to be a part of the runway show portion to stand for this great cause. This second annual event is geared to provide a night filled with entertainment, including a live fashion runway show, food and live music from artist Crystal Cameron. Crystal is a gospel singer who resides in Frisco, Texas. She has new releases out that will be showcased at this event including "Joy" off of her album, Grace. She is excited to take the stage and do her part in helping victims of domestic violence.
